How does this work?
Each companion has their own phone number. You call them — or they call you, depending on the companion — and you just talk. About your day, your past, whatever's on your mind. Your conversation is privately transcribed, summarized, and stored in your personal journal on the portal. No app to learn. Just a phone call.
What are reflections?
After your conversations, your companion writes you a reflection — a narrative summary of what you shared, written back to you in a meaningful way. It's not a transcript. It's your life, told as a story. You receive these weekly, monthly, or yearly depending on your plan.
What is Story Lens?
Story Lens lets you choose how your companion writes your reflections. Memoir, mystery, saga, comedy, fable, or noir — pick a genre, and your life story gets told in that style. You can change it anytime.
Do I have to pick one companion?
It depends on your subscription. Get A Life ($9.99/mo) gives you access to up to three companions — we all have different friends for different purposes. Life with Purpose ($19.99/mo) keeps your three companions and adds a specialty arc with Esmé (travel companion) or Emory (writer's companion & copy editor), giving you a separate timeline for travel journaling or writing work. Life in Practice ($24.99/mo) deepens both arcs and adds weekly + monthly reflections across travel and writing. Whole Life ($49.99/mo) opens all twelve companions and all three timelines — life, travel, writing. You can also upload your historic journals (nearly any file format) and have reflections made on them — bringing all of your journaling into one place. Photo gallery of your life and a soundtrack of your life are also included. A full sensory experience, with no algorithm, no manipulation — just a safe place to make your own. The portal is private, yours, and witnesses your living while documenting your life.
